The Multi-Bend universal bending machine is an extremely versatile bending centre for virtually all bending work necessary in metal construction. The universal bending machine has a horizontal flat bending table. The hydraulic cylinder is located below the working level, as a result of which a high degree of bending freedom is achieved. All forces generated are absorbed by the precisely guided lifting carriage. A large number of bending tools can be accepted for pressing, truing or canting, roll bending or mandrel bending.

In the –PW- version, the universal bending machine additionally features a powerful roll bending drive with three individually driven rollers. The speed of the lateral rollers as well as the central roller can be controlled separately and infinitely (0 – 16 rpm). As a result, optimum adjustment of the roller speed is possible in the case of rollers with different diameters. Due to the high torque of the three individually driven rollers, very small bending radii can be rolled even in the first rolling pass. In connection with the NC line motion controller and the bending software, even complex geometries can be produced precisely and with high repeatability, for example basket arches, ellipses or bent parts with virtually any radii and transits.
The universal bending machine can optionally be equipped with a separate 0 - 180° swivelling drive. The swivelling drive accepts a bending plate or a tube bending segment. Frames or tubes can be bent with a bending angle of up to 180 degrees. The powerful mandrel bending jig is used for thin-walled tubes and tight bending radii.
The new Multi-Bend is unique in its flexibility and performance capability. All common bending processes can be accomplished with just one machine. The Multi-Bend thereby significantly outperforms many conventional bending machines with regard to bending power, precision and flexibility.
